As forecast wind was just about planable with 95l/6m, but not for long as wind decreased. Slalom guys still blasting though. Tried 29cm single fin in 95l Freewave with 6m. Twichy to start with (supposed to be freeride mode) and better after moving mast foot forward. Not much wind so may not be best test but felt like board would rider up in chop so will try smaller fin(s) next time.
Surprisingly large swell and chop for wind. Locals said very little wind since September, and from South so currents in bay changed which might be kicking chop up. Probably settle back if we get some NEs. OK first sail.
